Frequently Asked Questions

📦 Booking & Delivery

How long is the rental period?

All of our rentals are for the entire day! When you select a time during the booking process, this simply helps us prioritize our delivery routes so we can deliver efficiently and on time. We aim to complete all deliveries between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Do you deliver and set up the equipment?

Yes! We provide full delivery, professional setup, and takedown for all our rentals. Delivery fees may apply depending on your exact location within our service area.

What type of surface is required for setup?

Units must be operated over a smooth, compatible surface (like grass, concrete, or asphalt). The unit may NOT be operated on rough surfaces such as rocks, brick, glass, or any jagged objects.

Are you insured? Can I book this for a school, park, or community event?

Yes, we are fully insured and can provide the comprehensive proof of insurance needed for public events. All of our inflatable equipment has undergone inspection through the Texas Department of Insurance for Amusement Rides.

You can verify our credentials on the TDI Amusement Rides page. Scroll down to check our Current Insurance Policy and our Current Amusement Ride Compliance Stickers to see our inspected inflatables. Our operation is listed as Jump Splash Fun CTX LLC.

💳 Payments & Cancellations

When is payment due?

All rental payments must be made IN FULL the day before delivery. Equipment will not be dispatched or set up until the balance is cleared.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Our cancellation and rescheduling policies are as follows:

  • 7+ Days Before Event: We offer a 100% refund if you cancel at least 7 days prior to your scheduled event.
  • Within 7 Days of Event: 20% of your total rental amount will be held as a raincheck (valid for 1 full year from the original event date toward a future rental).
    • If you have already paid in full: The 20% is kept as your raincheck, and the remaining 80% balance will be fully refunded to you.
  • After Delivery: Please note that absolutely no refunds will be issued once the equipment has been delivered.
Do you accept cash tips?

Tips are completely optional and never required. We ensure our team is compensated well for their hard work, so they are not expecting a tip. However, if you feel they provided exceptional service and you decide to tip, 100% of your gratuity goes directly to the setup crew.

☀️ Weather Policies

What is your weather cancellation policy?

Safety is our top priority. If we do not deliver due to severe weather, you will receive a complete refund. Please note that Jump Splash Fun CTX LLC is not responsible for bad weather or disruption of electrical service once the equipment has been delivered, and no refunds will be issued after delivery.

What should we do if the weather turns bad during our event?

NEVER use the equipment during high winds (20+ mph), gusty winds, thunderstorms, or lightning. In these conditions, evacuate all users and deflate the unit immediately.

We strongly recommend following the 30-30 Rule for maximum safety:

  • First, if you see lightning and hear thunder within 30 seconds, the storm is dangerously close. Evacuate the equipment and seek safe, enclosed shelter immediately.
  • Second, wait at least 30 minutes after hearing the last rumble of thunder before leaving shelter and allowing anyone back on the equipment.

For full details on outdoor safety during storms, please review the official guidelines on the National Weather Service Lightning Safety page.

🛑 General Rules & Safe Operation

Who is responsible for supervising the equipment?

A responsible adult must supervise the inflatables and party equipment, as well as the participants, at all times while the rental is in use.

Are there specific rules for jumping and sliding?

Yes. To ensure everyone has a safe time on the inflatables, please enforce the following rules:

  • Prohibited Items & Actions: Before entering the unit, users must remove shoes, eyeglasses, belt buckles, jewelry, and any sharp objects. No flips, somersaults, or wrestling.
  • Age Grouping: Only children of the same age/size group are to play on the unit at the same time to prevent collision injuries.
What happens if the blower stops or the power goes out?

If the blower stops, remove all users immediately and check the circuit breaker. Please be aware that a $20.00 service fee will be charged for any service calls resulting from tripped house breakers or unplugged power cords.
